Hello!
So for the 1st time in a week I did some singing. I've had an ear infection most of the week so singing was out of the question. Lets put it this way... I could tell I hadn't sung for a week! It's like when you take time off from the gym and you go back a bit rusty!
However there is some good news... my microphone stand arrived yesterday! And there is also a parcel I have to pick up tomorrow, I've ordered a few things but I'm really hoping it's the actual microphone. :)
There's a few songs I've been learning more recently... Run by Snow Patrol fits my natural range very well and Bob Dylan's Knockin' on Heavens door is pretty easy to sing. The thing I like about the Bob Dylan song is the fact you can mess around a bit with it... it's a very simple tune but I've got some great ideas to put my own stamp on it so don't be surprised if that's the 1st song I upload!
Something I forgot to mention in the last blog is that I'm currently at Grade 2 - practicing Wonder Wall by Oasis though I don't feel I really connect with the song as well as others.
So yeah, if my parcel tomorrow is my microphone then I shall be having lots of fun with that!
